Sometimes that resistance seems to be expressed with every ounce of strength that is in us. A classic line from Star Trek sums up my understanding of the results of that struggle, “Resistance is futile . . .” There is certainly a strength that results form consistency in our lives, but the truth is that the only consistency... Don’t forget that the Student Ministries will be having a bake sale on the morning of June 22 (before and after the service). In an effort to support our youth, there will be no donuts on that Sunday morning, although we will have coffee available. Please make plans to help by either baking something for the sale (have it at the church by 9:00 a.m. if possible) or by buying something from the sale or both. The funds raised will go towards a student trip to Morning Star in July. Read More →
